What is vaginoplasty?

Vaginoplasty in Turkey is an outpatient surgical procedure performed by a plastic surgeon and his team under local anesthesia. It lasts approximately 45 minutes. Its objective is to narrow and rejuvenate the vagina by improving the muscle tone, control, and elasticity of the vaginal canal. To do this, the vaginal musculature is closed using resorbable sutures and the excess tissue is removed.

WHEN TO UNDERGO VAGINOPLASTY SURGERY

The ideal time to undergo vaginoplasty in Turkey (reconstruction or a change in the appearance of the vagina) is just after menstruation and you can have it done from the age of 16-20, as before or during this time you may experience changes in your genitals. This surgery may be contraindicated in temporary conditions such as breastfeeding, pregnancy, menstruation, and infection or injury to the area.

VAGINOPLASTY RISKS
