The CERAM clinic was established in 1993 and is located within the Ceram hospital. It has its own dedicated area and specialises in procedures such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and egg donation. It has two IVF laboratories, a dedicated fertility treatment room and four individual recovery rooms for fertility patients. Although the hospital deals with all specialties, it focuses on fertility and maternity, offering services such as water births, antenatal education and a post-natal and midwifery clinic.
All results obtained at CERAM are tested by the Spanish Fertility Society to guarantee the quality of the procedures performed. The team is highly qualified, the health professionals and the clinic maintain the highest standards of quality and safety. We can not thank everyone at Ceram Hospital enough, the treatment we’ve had under the care of Dr Benito, Joanna, all of the nurses and the surrounding team were first class. Each consultation was thorough, never felt rushed, professional, the hospital is spotless and does not feel overcrowded or hectic. It’s amazing! Our treatment was personalised, I was carefully monitored and every part of it felt like holistic care. Even now Dr Benito and Joanna will reply to my questions quickly and personally. I really can’t recommend them more highly. If you’re considering IVF abroad, this is truly an excellent choice. The team has made a very difficult time so so positive for us. Thank you team x x x

I am posting this anonymously to respect the family of my friend who’s tragically passed away due to the hospital’s lack of equipment and neglect.She was almost 39 weeks pregnant, got to the hospital with pains and was told her baby had died.During this tragic labour she lost a lot of blood and needed a blood transfusion. They kept her waiting for hours without resources to help her. After over 4 hours they finally got an ambulance to take her to another hospital but it was too late. She’s passed away in the ambulance.My friend and her baby would be here today if it wasn’t for Ceram.I am posting this not to damage a doctors/clinic reputation but to save you or your childs life.Please take this review seriously.

The best hospital on the Costa Del Sol.I’m so pleased we chose Ceram. From Estela on reception to the midwife Emanuela , everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Benito over saw my pregnancy and my little girl arrived safely and happily in the water pool on the 8th June. The after care was amazing, I recommend this hospital to everyone.

en agosto una amiga fue a dar a luz a este hospital y con todo lo demás y extras pago 5mil€ en efectivo a este hospital de una vez, cosa que es iIegaI y esta totalmente prohibido en España, pues bien, el bebé de mi amiga casi muere al nacer y sabeis que? que ellos no podian atenderlo alli porque no tenian suficientes medios para salvarle la vida al bebe!! Asi que obligaron al padre del bebe a llamar una ambulancia para que se llevaran al bebe a otro hospital y pagar de su bolsillo tambien la ambulancia!! no tiene sentido!!! les habian pagado mucho dinero y le pusieron precio a salvarle la vida a su bebe!!! esta totalmente prohibido tambien porque la ley en España obliga a atender a las personas aunque no tengan seguro privado si esa persona esta a punto de palmar en tu hospital!!! es muy triste y lamentable, este hospital deberia estar cerrado, por favor no lleven a sus bebes alli a nacer!!!

C'est le pire endroit de tout Marbella par rapport aux hôpitaux privés. Si vous êtes en mauvaise posture et que vous voulez être fini, venez ici car ils vous feront passer un très mauvais moment et en plus ils vous factureront. Je ne sais toujours pas ce que ce centre «de santé» est ouvert et je ne prends pas de rendez-vous pour un test de covid-19 qui prend plus d'un mois.

La plupart des avis positifs proviennent de personnes qui sont des amis de la famille, même d'un travailleur qui fournit des services à l'hôpital (assistants privés de médecins qui y exercent et qui ne sont pas embauchés par l'hôpital). Manque de professionnalisme, le personnel infirmier est traité comme une poubelle, un harcèlement constant de la part de leur propriétaire, que si vous ne faites pas les choses comme elle vous le dit (même si ce n'est pas la bonne chose à faire), ils vous le jetteront au visage devant les patients et vous manque de respect comme vous n'en avez aucune idée. Lorsque vous essayez de «vous plaindre» du fait que cela vous semble injuste à quel point ils se comportent mal avec vous sans avoir rien fait, leur directeur (la fille du propriétaire) vous dit que «c'est ce qu'il y a, si vous ne l'aimez pas, vous partez», et bien essayez de réparer les choses et de les faire correctement, ils continuent de vous harceler psychologiquement et de détruire votre moral, en disant des choses comme «les médecins ne veulent plus travailler avec vous parce que vous n'en valez pas la peine», étant totalement des mensonges et utilisant ce type d'accusation pour vous démoraliser, vous ennuyer , et que vous signez un retrait volontaire. Ils font des choses totalement illégales, comme par exemple, ils vous obligent à réutiliser des matériaux jetables à usage unique, ils vous obligent à re-stériliser des choses qui ne devraient pas l'être, juste pour économiser de l'argent, sans oublier que ces matériaux sont également facturés au patient. Quand je suis allé travailler là-bas, le fils du propriétaire et frère du directeur, a marché (et continue de marcher aujourd'hui) autour de l'hôpital en donnant des ordres, en participant à des chirurgies comme circulateur, et en prenant soin des choses sans même être embauché (ils accueillent parce que c'est une entreprise «familiale», et faire toutes sortes de tâches pour lesquelles elle n'est pas professionnellement qualifiée, c'est étudier la médecine mais n'est ni médecin ni infirmière et accomplit des tâches qui ne correspondent pas), c'est ce qu'on appelle l'intrusion. Cette même personne m'a dit que "si une inspection survient, il ne travaille pas là-bas et je ne l'ai jamais vu" et il m'a également dit, avec le directeur, que si nous pouvions introduire des médicaments injectables périmés dans la chirurgie sans l'anesthésiste Bien sûr, quoi de mieux que de mieux ... Puis ils vous mettent à faire des choses qui ne vous correspondent pas, ils vous obligent à faire des tâches que vous ne connaissez pas ou ne sont pas qualifiés et si vous refusez de les faire ils vous menacent et vous font pression, ils se relaient 12-15h d'affilée sans pause pour manger, ils vous donnent des quarts de travail le week-end (non convenu lors d'un entretien précédent), ils ne vous paient pas les bonus qu'ils devraient, et quand vous leur dites que vous ne pouvez pas aller travailler un week-end qui n'a jamais été a accepté de travailler, parce que vous avez un bébé et que vous êtes seul et que vous n'avez personne avec qui le laisser, il vous dit que vous pouvez tenir bon, point final, pendant que sa fille de 2 ans est là à l'hôpital dans son bureau pour jouer. À tout cela, il faut ajouter que lorsque vous réclamez une voie légale (en profitant de la convention collective et du statut des travailleurs), et qu'ils ne savent pas quoi faire, ils vous licencient "de manière disciplinaire" en inventant mille choses dans une lettre de licenciement infini, et après un moment, son conseiller vous appelle, pour vous offrir plus d'argent que votre dû en règlement et en masse salariale afin que vous puissiez signer un accord et ne pas réclamer plus tard de l'entreprise, c'est-à-dire un pot-de-vin, afin que vous gardiez la bouche fermée et qu'ils puissent continuent à tout prix à commettre leurs illégalités. Je ne suis pas le seul à avoir souffert de tout cela, ils ont un changement constant de personnel car personne ne peut supporter de travailler là-bas, ils vous ennuient et vous rendent amer jusqu'à votre départ, et il y a déjà plusieurs plaintes qui conduisent à des manques de paiement, ou des "erreurs" au moment de la saisie de votre paie. Je ne recommande pas de travailler là-bas, et encore moins de vous mettre entre les mains d'un médecin en tant que patient, car si les médecins font bien leur travail, vous ne savez jamais si vous allez toucher du matériel périmé lors de votre chirurgie, ou si vous allez avoir une réaction en raison d'un médicament périmé. qu'ils vous administrent ...

Hopital privé donc cher. L avantage étant qu on est vite pris en charge. Par contre ils n ont pas pu nous donner un rdv avec un spécialiste ni en proposer un en substitution. Et pour finir, ils ne peuvent nous fournir les résultats de l échographie car pb informatique, ils ont perdus nos résultats et images.... Pas très professionnel

After 3 failed NHS cycles, my husband and I researched private IVF clinics in and outside of the UK . Ceram were highly recommended by our previous UK clinic and by a family friend, who had been successful there.At the beginning we made contact with Joanna (the International IVF Patient Coordinator at Ceram), who provided us with an estimate of costs and detailed information of Dr Benitos' qualifications, expertise and specialisms, so that we could check. Speaking to Joanna made us feel confident about the service, she was very open and very happy to answer our questions. Joanna was able to help us arrange an initial consultation with Dr Benito.Having enquired into Dr Benito, we found he is well respected and held in high regard by his piers.We forwarded our IVF patient records to Dr Benito prior to our appointment. It was nice to have a Dr who had fully read and digested our long IVF history. We learnt more in the consultation with Dr Benito, than we had in 6 years at the UK clinic, such as medical conditions in our records, that we were unaware of. He took time to explain and answer questions. This was refreshing as in the UK most of our appointments were taken up by the Dr reading our notes and being reluctant to answer questions. We knew straightaway that Dr Benito was the person we wanted to continue our IVF treatment with, not only was he extremely professional, but empathetic of our situation and we felt he genuinely cared.We were kept fully informed throughout our cycle, which was planned to perfection. From fees and medication to scheduling a suitable timetable to be in Spain. The clinic were always happy to communicate with us by email, fax or phone.After 7 years of dreaming this day would happen, our baby girl arrived this week. Thank you Dr Benito. We would highly recommend Dr Benito and will be forever grateful.

Nos la recomendaron y después de ver a varias clínica decidimos confiar en el doctor. Todavía estoy pensando cómo perdimos un año de nuestra vida, y como contarlo por lo cual, no la recomiendo para nada. Es mi opinión y de mi pareja, pero si tenéis duda iros a otra, es mi recomendación.

Es un hospital bonito y muy tranquilo. Las habitaciones son comodas y grandes. El personal es muy profesional y cercano al paciente. En todo el momento estas bien atendido. También hay cafetería y parking privado.

A child was born in this clinic and died at 1st day of his life, stopped breathe. Before and after gaving a birth there were nobody to look after mom almost during all the process. If you want save your child´s life and save money better go to public hospital, there can´t work unqualified doctors.
