Have not been here for years and will certainly NOT be going back!! They charge you for breathing their air! What a rip-off!! Better to go to Govt. Hospitals, great service & more often than not, the same doctors. Very disappointing! The Doctors & Nurses are great so no complaint there.
The waiting time is almost the same as going to a public hospital but it’s much more expensive than a public hospital.Took me an hour of waiting just to see a doctor. Rather go to Bangkok hospital (on the superhighway road) for better service and small price difference.
Their ARI CLINIC is really well organised with English speaking staffs willing to help you. All the nurses are friendly and helpful too. Really good services. Did PCR test here and they did a thorough screening me, and then gave doctor opinions, listened to my problem and willing to help. Great hospital in Chiang Mai
Took less than 15 minutes between when I walked in and when I was talking to a doctor (after they checked my temp and blood pressure). The most professional and efficient healthcare I've ever received. Paid 500 baht to speak with a doctor. Everyone spoke great English. Super impressed.
EDIT.I attended RAM on 05/01/22 for a PCR test as I was flying International.WOW!The staff here are super. They apologised firstly to me as there may be a wait as they were busy. From entry to the Hospital, to check up, doctors consultation, payment, PCR swabs, to leaving, all done within an hour. They called with my results within hours and the next morning my documents were waiting for me at the counter. This is an outstanding Medical Facility.Thank you to everyone that works at RAM. 🙏😷😊I've attended Ram 3 times now.Once last year and again yesterday. 31/03/21.This is an excellent facility. From arrival at the front door and having Covid19 temp check, to check in at reception, to being escorted to Pathology, having Blood Test, then to see a Specialist.ALL STAFF are polite, friendly, understanding, caring, respectful and professional. The Hospital is Spotlessly clean.Covid19 1 metre rule applies in all areas.Prescriptions, if you need medication, are filled on the premises.I wouldn't go anywhere else for Medical Treatment. This place is great.
Went to do my pre flight COVID test here. 3,000 baht for the PCR test and it took me about 1 hour to do all the paperwork and sit around which was a bit too much but whatever.Got my result about 8 hours later (you can go pick it up at the hospital) BUT didn't receive it in my email until about 14 hours after my test. You have to tell them you want it sent to your email address. So just be aware of this.
Visited on December 19, 2021 The inside of the hospital is cleaner than the outside and the staff are friendly. But I've been waiting for the doctor for two hours now. I respect the doctor, but I can't wait for them. Especially for sick people. I hear a part-time doctor is coming, but he doesn't.
I was at the hospital today to make an appointment for my wife with a psychiatrist. When I asked the attendant about the value of the consultation, she was unable to inform me... She said that the doctor will tell me the value at the time of the consultation. How can I book a medical appointment without knowing the amount I will have to pay? What if, on the day of the consultation, I disagree with the amount the doctor charges? This way of working is very strange.
Last night I walked into the emergency room after a minor motorcycle accident while off roading. Nothing serious. I was very impressed in how quickly I was treated and taken care of. The staff are very respectful. I spoke Thai but they spoke excellent English in case your Thai isn’t that good. Within an hour I was in, treated, and out with a treatment plan and medicine.I am so grateful to this hospital and staff. I feel even better to be living in chiang mai now because I know now if there is anything more serious I will go to chiang mai ram hospital and can rest easy knowing that I’ll be taken care of at a fair, relatively affordable price.Thank you all staff for my great experience yesterday evening! I felt much better after the hospital both from the meds and also kind staff.
I was prescribed an antibiotic that is known to have a MAJOR and serious drug interaction with another medication I was taking prescribed by them (I even disclosed that I was on this medication as it was prescribed by their dermatologist to make sure they read my file correctly). I could have died or had permanent blindness as a result of their error. There was a complete lack of competency. After 6 days I developed a full body rash, headache, and two days of fatigue to where I could not move as a result of their error. I followed up with an appointment and they did not accept responsibility for prescribing me two medications that should never be taken together. They could care less that they compromised my health and cost me more money.
Great service. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The process was very quick. Their staff can speak English, so there are many non-Thai citizens who go here. It's one of the fanciest and most expensive hospitals in Chiang Mai.
Very knowledgeable doctor. But I strongly encourage you to be sure and check price before you agree to any services. The nursing staff gave me my price for a MRI. After getting my MRI the price was double. They told me they will discount the new higher price for me since they told me another price to begin with. They also told me the nursing fee was not included in the new price, but they would kindly not charge me for that. I ended up paying 25% more then what they initially told me would be my price and that is with their discount off the new higher price they quoted me. Very unprofessional. I appreciated the doctor though, just did not feel this was fair to treat their patients this way.
Professional staff, but watch out for the blatant over-prescribing of prescription medicine. I was charged 3710 baht for 1 (unnecessary) drug alone. If it were not for having medical insurance, I would have returned this drug once I paid for it. Also, their website is shockingly unuseful.
I was admit in February 2019 for couple day hereStaff - very nice medical team. (Thank you all staff in 7th floor for good take care of me)Room - clean and look newlocation - in the middle of Chiang Mai cityprice - it's reasonable for private hospital
Free wifi.
