We had an excellent experience at Dünyagöz Hospital, Etiler branch. My wife had cataract surgery and new lens implants, and now she doesn't have to wear glasses for the first time in 60 years. What a shocking and wonderful change! The process was extremely fast. From her first appointment for doctor consultation and testing, through surgery on the right eye, then surgery on the left eye, then follow-up check -- it all took only one week. There is an international desk, and an English-speaking assistant guided us every step of the way, so not speaking Turkish was no problem. Thank you Dünyagöz Hospital and Dr. Buğra!

Pleasure to be here. Excellent service and big smile on the faces. In the customer service, they gave me a quote for 1,700 tl, but the actual cost should normally be 3,410 tl. To all international patients…..They are ridiculously expensive. As soon as they see an international patient, they close their eyes and open their mouth with ridiculous numbers which doesn’t make any sense.I came for my Mom’s cataract surgery and they quoted me €14000 Euros. I took my mom to another well-known hospital for a second opinion. A professor in that hospital, did the same surgery for €1500 Euros. Results are amazing…. Thanks to him.Do you see the price difference? All I’m saying is, please explore other hospitals and professors before getting done anything here.

I came from America to this eye hospital and I was shocked at how they play tricks to get more money. Sending me for test after test-unnecessary tests! How do I know this? I worked at the eye hospital in Nepal for many years. Unfortunately the health tourism industry in Turkiye has become a money hungry and greed focused trap. I have been cheated 3 times. Whereas the doctors are highly trained and professional, the business is designed to force the foreigners into paying for many unnecessary charges. Conclusion: Demand ALL charges up front! Walk out on them if they don’t comply. Remind them that we have many options ! Share share share your experience. Health Tourism cannot be a greed based scam. Beware of false promises. Always get a second opinion.

Dr Anil Kubaloglu operated my eyes in Baku on 14.07.2023. It Was a laser Operation. Unfortunately my left eye sees 90%. I paid three times more money for this operation, because Dr Kubaloglu is expensive. The result is unfortunately bad. My left eye does not see good. When i came to him in Istanbul, the reception told me i have to pay 150 Euros for reexamination because i passed the 6 months free examination. I live in germany so that i can not travel easily. I would not recommend Dr Kubaloglu to anyone because he does not take resposibility for his operations. He is good in robbing his patients. Please dont go to him.

The doctors are great and the equipment is state of the art BUT for a non Turkish citizen the bureaucracy is ridiculous. Constantly going to different floors waiting for everything to get registered.I came for a simple examination, it took 10 minutes but the rest took over an hour. You have to register in the 4th floor and the people are not the friendliest.

I have had recently the Relex Smile laser procedure. The results are awesome. My vision is perfect now! Thank you so much for this. The doctor that treated me was Anil Kubaloglu. He was friendly and a high level professional doctor.Few tips/comments on the questions/answers that I wasn't able to find before coming to Etiler branch:Taxi transfer from the airport: it was arranged by the Clinic per my request. I was a little confused as i thought that the vehicle will have clinic's sign/name. However, exit 14 - in IST airport, will be bench of ppl from different companies and you will need to ask which one is for the Dünyagöz hospital. The driver was there and everything was perfectly arranged even though my flight was 10 hr delayed.Time of arrival: My flight was delayed like 10 hr , my appointment was next day. We arrived at 12 midnight , receptionist was there. We registered and went straight to our room.Payment: They accept all type of payments. I paid with credit card Amex. Firstly, I had all the check ups to make sure I am suitable for Relex Smile and only before the surgery I paid. Everything was included into the price and I haven't paid any penny extra, except for eye drops which I will suggest you to buy BEFORE the surgery in the pharmacy across the road. It costed me like £9.Surgery: was 2 min each eye same day after check ups and payment. It was fast that I didn't even realized that it was done. I had to wear dark glasses that they provided me with for 3hr after the surgery. I felt some burning, but that's normal. I had my flight next day, hence, wasn't able to give my eyes proper rest. I was able to see 90% next day and 100% the day after.Hotel/Clinic: The room was spacious so me and my mom had enough space to fit on a bed and sofa. Breakfast, lunch, dinner was provided which was good. Drinking hot/cold water was always available, towels, tv, and wifi was provided.The staff wasn't really familiar with English language, however, Doctor spoke English and translators were available to support any need.Thank you once again for having my eyes fixed and I don't have to wear glasses anymore! I am very happy with the results! This surgery is magic and definitely worth traveling to Turkey instead of paying overpriced treatment in the UK!

While the medical practitioners and supporting staff have shown themselves to be paragons of excellence in their respective fields, it has come to our attention that a woman in the accounting department has taken it upon herself to establish her own pricing for medical services. This reckless and unacceptable behavior has resulted in a lack of a clear and transparent fee schedule, leaving us in the dark about what they may be expected to pay for their treatment.In light of this troubling development, I would advise any prospective patients to exercise caution and seek an alternate opinion from another healthcare facility before proceeding with any medical treatment at this hospital. It is only through the guidance of trustworthy medical professionals with a proven track record of honesty and transparency that one can be assured of clarity and confidence in the pricing structure.

It’s a very good hospital. I don’t know about others but for me and my family, the help desk and the nurses treatment us fairly. My son Dr Professor Samuray always consider us and offer us the best even with a financial challenges he make sure we had the examination. People have different opinions but to my experience, is the best Eye Hospital Centre.The pictures is my daughter, her twin brother is the patient. You can see the attention and love they show her.

Even you have an appointment with a doctor you might wait long time for the examination. Mostly it is crowded but somehow even it is not crowded they are slow and you wait long.So far we didn’t have any problem in the regular eye examinations except waiting long.

Very good hospital with all kinds of specialized eye doctors. Had my second LASIK there. Everything went well & fast (under 30 minutes). Service is good. Overall very happy with the result! Thanks to everyone ☺️

This hospital seems to have been Founded for stealing money from the international patients. Careless staff and the doctors and nurses can't even speak English. My mother had an eye examination on different country and I send in the reports. And I was given a price of £1.500 for each eye. I agreed to go ahead with the price. I booked the tickets to go in Turkey took my mother there a 71 year old patient. First day we had an examination there and once the examination was done all the sudden the price changed to £2.500. When I question the price I was told that due to the lenses that's why the price goes up. Once the operation was done she had one consultantion and that's it. My mother was anxious to know how much her vision had improved we wasn't told nothing. The only thing the doctor said that everything was OK. When we wanted to ask further questions the doctor seem to be in the hurry and didn't seem that interested what our concern was. I was left very unimpressed with the doctor in terms of consultation and the nurses didn't seem very caring. And the price change that was the final straw for me. It seemed like a blackmail because we had already made the trip. And the chairs where they operate the patients were very uncomfortable. It left my mother with a massive back pain for week. The only good staff that was there his name was Taner who dealt with international patients who seemed that he genuinely cared. But after all the experience wasn't pleasant at all and very disappointed.

Worst hospital ever. In my opinion, founded the hospital for stealing money from the international patients. Careless staff and physician. They just send you test to test just for making extra money and don’t even ask about your story as a patient. Don’t waste your money and time for this hospital. The other thing is: if your doctors can’t understand English, what the hell you guys accept international CUSTOMERS!!!!

Dünyagöz hospital is ideal located if you go by metro. Your get out of the station and are directly in front of the hospital. For a special eye test we did not need to make any appointments and it took with registration and test about 10-15 minutes. The staff was very friendly. We paid 25% as if we would have made the test in Acibadem Hospital. Same maschine. The good thing is that they do accept SSK. I would go there any time again.

Yirmi gündür para iadesi bekliyoruz.bu nasıl iştir anlamadım, insanların ihtiyacı olabilir, alırken on saniyede aldınız,neden geri iadesi 20 gün geçti halaaa yapılmadı,yokmu bir açıklama yapacak birisi, defalarca Etiler şubesi ile görüştüm, cevap olarak bizim elimizde olan birşey değil diye cevap verdiler.. anlayacağınız tamamen hüsrana uğradım..bende beşinci ayda annemi buraya götürüp ameliyat yaptırmayı düşünüyordum,vaz geçtim..ama bizimle ilgilenen doktor ve hemşireler den memnunum çok güzel ilgi ve alakalılar onlara teşekkür ederim.

gecen sene ICL taktirdim, ameliyatı dr coskunsever yaptı ve hic bir Yan etkisi olmadigini söylemişti. artık 10 ay gecti ve gün den güne fazla yan etkileri gözüme carpiyor. adam gibi anlatsaydı ve gözü sadece parayı görmese belki bugün memnun olurdum ve bu ameliyatı yapmazdım, ama o zaman doktorlar nasıl para kazanacak? hemde avrupadaki fiyatlardan hic bir farki yok ama hizmeti sifir, doktur hic birsey anlatmıyor ve ameliyat gününde 3 saat bekletip odaya girip yagcilik yapiyor. bir daha da gelmem senelik kontrolümü de burda yapmam.

Temiz ve düzenli... Kafeteryada menü zayıf aslında menü de ürün çok ama gerçekte hiçbir şey yok... Sabah saatlerinde gitmiştim bir simit dahi yok. İnsanlarda mecbur tosta yöneliyor ama tostta güzel değil... Elbetteki tercih meselesi ama tostun içinde en azından ketçap bari olmalı...

Öncelikle şunu söyleyeyim ki bir özel hastane olduğu için ön yargılı yaklaştım fakat hastahane ye girer girmez ön yargım gitti .Hastalarla çok iyi bir ilgileniş , güler yüzlülük , kaliteli bir sağlık hizmeti var. Sadece maddi konuda biraz daha fiyatlar düşürülse çok iyi olur.

Dunya goz hastanesindeki op.dr fevzi akkanDunya goz sadece para odaklı olmuş bir doktor.Tavuk karası için iki hastamız gitdi .biyonik goz üzerine tez yapmış bir doktor ama konu hakkında bir bilgisi yok .Sadece muayene süper hızla 1 dakka süresi muayine ediyor.Ilk önce damla damlatıp sonra goz röntgeni cekin diyor750 tl goz röntgeni başka yerde 100 tl rontgenle yerde alıyor dedimYok aynı rontgen değil deyip fiyatı biz başka yere gitmeyelim diye 2 kişi 1000 tl alalım dediler.Tavuk karasu ve tedavi hakkında net bilgi vermeyip seneye tekrar gelin diyen bir doktor.Dunya goz hastanesi olarak tedavi yerine kazıklandık çok kötü bir hastane.Özellikle FevziAkkan diye bir doktor var kesinlikle gitmeyin .Yanindaki sekreteri de danışmanı hm da sadece dedikodu için orda sanırım.Dunya goz hastanesi eski goz hastane si olmaktan çıkmış çok üzüldüm.Favori hastanemdi ama böyle ilgisiz doktorlar yüzünden bence hasta kaybı olacak .Tüm arkadaşlarıma gitmeyin diye uyarıcam.

Temiz hastane, güler yüzlü personel hasta danışmanı dilek hanıma ilgi ve alakasından dolayı ve güvenlik personeline güler yüzlülüğğnden dolayı çok teşekkür ederim. Fiyat olarak biraz pahalı olsada sağlık adına kesinlikle degen bir hastane, cafeterya fiyatlarında biraz daha uygun olsa çok daha iyi olacaktır

Hemşireler ve doktorlar çok ilgili ve işlerini çok iyi yapıyorlar. Ancak bir çok olumsuzluk giriş anı itibari ile oluştu. Öncelikle kapıdaki valeye “ anahtarımı vermek istemiyorum yer gösterin ben parkedeyim “ dediğim de ilerde otopark var oraya git parket ded. Bunu dediğinde hastane önündeki yerlerin tamamı boştu. Hastaneye girip bu ne saçmalıktır sorumlu yok mu burada dediğimde içeriden gelen bir bayan yardımcı oldu ancak valelerin tavırları gel şöyle vs. Şeklindeydi, böyle bir hastane için bu kesinlikle rezalet, ben anahtarımı teslim etmek zorunda değilim. Ardından oğlumun yatışını yapacağımız esnada 1500 tl covid ve antikor testi için ücret talebinde bulundular. ( özel sağlık sigortamız mevcut. ) bunu ödemeyeceğimi ve bu testlerin tamamını devletin karşıladığını beyan ettim. Ancak işlem yapamayacaklarını söylediler. Bende mecburen ödedim ve taburcu olduktan sonra 170 sağlık bakanlığını aradım. Kesinlikle bunun ile ilgili bir ücret alınamayacağını ve ıslak imzalı dilekçe ile başvurmam gerektiğini söylediler. Şimdi kendilerinden hem ıslak imzalı dilekçe ile sgk müdürlüğünden hemde cimer üzerinden şikayetçi olacağım. Bazı yorumlarda belirtildiği üzere ticarethane olarak kurulmuş bir işletmeden ötesi değil.

Dünyagöz etiler şubesinde ilk şalazyon ameliyatımı 2019 yılında gerçekleşti 2 cisi bu ameliyattan 3 ay sonra. 3. Aynı gözdeki ameliyayım 2020 nin başında gerçekleşti fakat asla bir çözüm bulunamadı şuan yine gözüm şiş. Özellikle ününü duyup en iyisi diye gittim ama hem okadar para verip hemde tekrar takrar o acıları çekmekten yoruldum. Hiç memnun kalmadım. Ameliyat sonrası gözle görülür bir iz kaldı gözümde.

I went there for my old mother to get her eyes checked. The doctor who checked my mother did not treat her professionally and with nice manner. She seemed to be very angry since minute one. She did not check her eyes carefully either and gave short answers us to our questions without looking at us. I believe the doctor was having a bad day, i guess.
