Instituto de Fertilidad – Palma de Mallorca was founded in 2008 and is an infertility clinic. It has 5 treatment rooms and 4 separate departments: fertility, obstetrics and urology, gynaecology and embryology. The clinic is certified by the Spanish Fertility Society as an accredited assisted reproduction clinic. Your treatment at the Instituto can include in vitro fertilisation or artificial insemination. You can also choose to bank your sperm and/or eggs.

All the positive adjectives you can look for fall short to define my experience at IFER. I have felt with them how our parenthood became a common project for everyone who is part of the clinic. The girls at the reception, with their much-needed encouragement and affection; the nursing colleagues, always attentive and attentive to your needs and care; and of course, the team of Doctors headed by the wonderful Dr. Castel, who has (have) treated me with patience, professionalism and affection which has made me feel like family. Without forgetting the team of biologists, who with care and dedication have always looked for the best options for us. The result? We will be parents in March, and my case was not easy. The important thing is that I have always felt that the best option was being sought for me, even if the news was not always good, and in the end, we have achieved it. My eternal gratitude. Thank you for helping us start a family, in such a familiar environment.

Today we were discharged and the truth is that I have a mix of feelings.Very happy because we are leaving with our wish “fulfilled” and at the same time sad to leave such a wonderful team.Being accompanied by such humane and close people in such a difficult process is, at the very least, something to be grateful for for life.Thank you all, Patri, Pepi and all the other administrators, nurses, assistants.Andrea from the laboratory, always explaining herself so well and with such care.I have felt comfortable with all the doctors, but Dr. Vicens has been my guardian angel, my amulet, thank you again for everything.The three of us will return together to visit you.

It is not easy to face something as unknown and painful as infertility, but when you are in the hands of people as human and professional as the Ifer Team, they make everything go a little better. The truth is that at first it seems a little strange not having an assigned doctor, but then you realize that internal coordination makes it much more efficient and you have five doctors instead of one, which we saw as very positive.From the first day we felt "at home" and the treatment was exceptional, very easy, comfortable... Having an emergency telephone number solved a couple of mishaps and doubts before and after the transfer, which further increased the feeling of closeness.It is true that the procedure may or may not work, and it does not depend solely on the treatment or the doctors, but of course, since it is hard and sometimes tedious, doing it with good company will surely help. It worked for me the first time, but if I had to do it again, I would return to IFER, without a doubt.I would like to make a special mention: To Meriem, the nurse who accompanied us at all times. She is sweet as well as super professional, attentive to everything. Also Loida in Reception, who with her friendliness makes you suddenly calm down when you walk through the door, she transmits very good energy. And finally, Dr. Marga Vicens, who is the one we saw most frequently. We really liked his honesty, his transparency and his professionalism. It conveys a lot of security, and these are essential qualities in a process like this.Thanks also to Andrea and Raquel, the embryologists, always attentive! And the rest of the team, I can't mention everyone but everything is positive!!

I am going to tell my experience hoping it can be helpful to other people. It was difficult for us to take the step before starting with the invitro, Dr. Belén Castel visited us, a great professional and a great person and very empathetic at all times and who gave me a lot of encouragement. I started the treatment when I was 41 years old and the least I What I liked to hear was that I should not get my hopes up because of my age (the doctor never told me that, she was always optimistic). It has been a long and hard process since we decided to do the PGD and the waits made us desperate, not to mention the imbalances. hormonal. Finally it was worth it, they did an embryo transfer and now I am 6 weeks pregnant. All our thanks to the entire team of professionals at the center and the girls at the reception.

I went to see Dra Margalida Vicens Vidal about artificial insemination. She would not even contemplate the option because she said at 44 it would just make a joke of me and she doesn’t want to do that. This was said before any investigations were completed to see the state of my reproductive health. I left the office feeling defeated and in tears. A friend recommended IVI clinic and the Dr was incredibly kind and listened and did investigations and said I was very healthy for a woman of my age and he would do artificial insemination. Therefore if you want to be listened to and have options, IFER is not the clinic to go to!!

No entregan información sobre los resultados de analiticas ni información general, tampoco acerca los medicamentos ni dónde comprarlos pues no se encontraban en diferentes farmacia que tuve que ir el mismo dia. En cada visita de control la media de espera era de aproximadamente 1 hora. En general un servicio muy mejorable y poco personal tratándose de lo qué es. Espero que mejoren con esta y demas críticas para futuros clientesSlds!
