The International Smiles Clinic is known for its excellence in dentistry. The practice is located in Medellin, the second largest city in Colombia. The panoramic view of the Aburra Valley, the flower festival and the excellent quality of dental care delight many visitors. US-trained dentists perform simple to complex treatments, such as periodontal (gum) therapy and restorative treatments. Our dental clinic complies with international standards.

Our dental team is led by Dr. Adriana Castano who received a scholarship from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She completed her graduate residency program in general dentistry, including a certificate in periodontics at Nova Southeastern University in Florida, and was certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. After completing her education and training in the United States, she returned to her hometown to serve residents and tourists.

Brilliant service and care for a fantastic practice. As a very nervous (due to previous dental experiences) patient, I could not have asked for a more caring practice and Dr. I felt at ease always. And when I had a panic attack it was dealt with with the upmost care and compassion. Teeth are now in a brilliant shape and the dental work completed on them has been to the highest standard. You'd never even know my fillings are fillings! Would highly recommend especially if you are nervous about attending a dental practice. Well worth every penny. Thank you so much to the team and Louisa for giving me my confidence and smile back. It makes a world of difference.

I am so happy to have found International Smiles. 🤗 After quite a few disastrous trial and horror soul shattering denture replacement experiences, my recent experience with International Smiles over the past few months, has been nothing but a mind body spirit holistic experience, which matters because to every human being all over the Planet our smiles matter. My replacement Dentures Overseer was Alan Petrie. From my very first appt, after an initial examination of my mouth, Alan first explained, his personal and ethical responsibility to me, a denture replacement client. Immediately I was put at ease, Alan's amazing wife Magda, first point I'd contact at Reception, and their Dental Assistants Team, honestly, they were so kind and understanding of my anxieties, so capable of and in, their individual collective work responsibilities and ethics, just like their Boss ☺️ Each appt experience was thoroughly explained, I was invited to ask questions, to my surprised delight, , my own thoughts were enthusiastically included and respected about Alan's Denture Replacement Plan. To me, that's what created the holistic experience I found there. How I was treated at each appt mattered to Alan and his Team. When my replacement dentures were finally fitted, I was over the Moon! I can smile with absolute confidence, which I now do,A LOT !! 🤗I would wholeheartedly recommend this Clinic to everyone who is considering Replacement Dentures. By the way, Alan doesn't just pack you off home after your new denture replacements are done. There is an after completion check up to see how you are getting on with them.As I said at the start, prior to finding few disastrous experiences before finding International Smiles, Burntisland, I'd had repeatedly attempted to get denture replacement treatment, but it was just the most personally demoralising, physically damaging, money wasting experience to say the least. After a lifelong fear of the dentist and on reading the glowing reviews of International Smiles, I finally plucked up the courage to get my smile back. I cannot recommend the team at International Smiles highly enough. They made me feel completely at ease, the fear has now gone and best of all I now have my smile back with the best fitting and natural looking dentures. I highly recommend Smiles dentist. Alan and Magda were fantastic, so friendly and accommodating, they pulled out all the stops to have my dentures completed before I went on holiday. I have been absolutely delighted with my treatment from start to finish. My dentures are perfect, they've had such a positive impact & worth every penny just wished I'd visited sooner. Anyone considering new dentures don't go anywhere else.

Never thought I would say that I found it to be a very positive experience. Had to go for a lot of work between extractions and then getting a plate made. everyone was kind and considerate even though I must have been a nightmare patient as I have a bad gag reflex but Alan and Mo were so patient with me and encouraging. They took their time to make sure the treatment was done right and done well, they must have a lot of patience. Alan has done an amazing job on my denture plate, it looks amazing. I would encourage anyone who has problems with going to the dentist to go to International Smiles, they gave me my smile back.

Friendly caring team Mo, Magda, Alan & his lovely Mum on reception. I can now smile with confidence again as Mo did an excellent, professional job on my teeth.I felt at ease as Mo explained everything he would be doing, was very gentle & had so much patience as he advised me on treatment but gave me time to make up my mind. Je ne peux en aucun cas critiquer les soins apportés dès la première consultation par Alan et Magda. Ils vous font sentir tellement détendu et le traitement est de première classe. La première série de prothèses dentaires que j'ai eues est parfaitement adaptée et si naturelle.Je recommanderais fortement cette pratique. Merci beaucoup à vous deux.

My wife has received her new dentures from International smiles,she is delighted not only with the dentures but the treatment she received from Alan and his assistant Magda, she is claustrophobic and they were so professional at keeping her calm,also she is seventy four and she said its the first time she has suffered no discomfort. Mon expérience et mon traitement chez International Smiles ont été excellents du début à la fin. L'équipe est très sympathique et rien n'est de trop pour eux. J'ai reçu des détails sur un certain nombre d'options pour mon traitement et j'ai eu le temps de réfléchir au meilleur traitement pour moi. Les soins aux patients sont clairement primordiaux, de la consultation initiale au suivi. Je ne peux pas les recommander assez fortement.
