If there was an option for zero stars I would rate them as that. I went to their website and left some details in their chat. A few days later someone by the name of Shan emailed me back asking me to send in pics and complete a questionnaire. I did exactly that and did it the same day the questionnaire came in. All good until this point.The problem then is that nobody replied. I then forwarded my email again, it could be someone missed it. Still now reply.I waited for a few days to past and forwarded my email for a third time with all my pics and questionnaire completed. Again, no reply, not even a courtesy email, just nothing.My original message to them was 24 Aug and today is 7 Sept, 14 days later and they have pics of me and do not reply.

My experience with MHR was extremely professional right from the start. Prior to the procedure and after many calls and discussions with Dr Larry we decided on which option would be best for me. During the discussion as well as during the procedure I felt comfortable and at ease at all times. Thank you to Dr. Ryan for his meticulous attention to detail during the procedure along with the assistance of his expert team. I look forward to a great result ! It is four and a half months post procedure and I am very happy with the results thus far - in all probability the full benefit will likely only be seen near twelve months post procedure.
My experience with MHR & Dr Larry was extremely professional & pleasing. Dr Larry & his staff are always friendly & willing to assist. The products they sell are affordable & highly effective. The staff are very professional & always made me feel comfortable when I attended my appointments. When I went for my first PRP treatment I was very afraid & nervous , but Dr Larry & his staff was so caring & kind, it made the whole process so much easier for me. It has been almost exactly a year since Dr Larry performed FUT Hair transplant on me. I have waited this long to write a review because it takes about a year to see the final results. Where to start? There are about 4-5 hair clinics in Cape Town. So how do you figure out which one to trust? I found it very difficult to find other people who have had an operation to speak too. I knew Dr Larry had been practicing for 30 years and I have seen him featured as a guest on numerous TV shows over the years. So I decided that he would be the best person to choose. A year later I am really happy with the results... It's really amazing and I will try and post some pictures here. Included is some infomation on the operation and the aftermath. I was really nervous about the procedure but a hair transplant is actually a minor operation and day of the operation went very smoothly. The big thing to note is that after the operation your face swells up and you look like Harry Potter when his face got jinxed in Malfoy Manor in Deathly Hallows part 1(you get written briefing about all these and other things). Other then that the back of my head felt mildly numb for about 2 months after(from FUT). The big takeaway you need to realize is it going to take ONE YEAR to grow your hair - to see the final results. The other thing is because the hair is from the back of your head it does not act exactly the same as the hair in the front. I used to have a cow lick but the new hair acts differently now. Also you are going take a single daily tablet of propecia for the rest of your life. A certain number of people do get bad sexual side effects so be aware of that, and read up about it, but I have been lucky and only had a temporary libido drop that returned to normal after a month or 2. Would I recommend Medical Hair Restoration and Dr Larry? 100% Yes, definitely! If you want ask more about my experience please don't hesitate too. I would have really appreciated finding someone to talk that had been through it all before.

As an artist with my own Studio (Maico Camilo Art Studio, now living in Cape Town) I often take photos of myself with my artworks. Self consciously I have noticed my gradual hair loss and have for some time wanted to remedy this issue. I sought potential solutions while living in Australia and New Zealand, but never settled on any option, perhaps through a lack of confidence in the consultant. Having researched the restoration clinic as seeming to be the best clinic in Cape Town, Dr Ryan provided me with what I consider to be the best medical consultation I have ever had. Professional, respectful and direct at the same time giving me an honest appraisal of what was the best course of action. I feel totally in control of the decisions we have made. I hope that when I host people at my art studio that I can be as professional as Dr Ryan!
