I would like to share my experience with Medicover. Their insurance is absolutely terrible. The healthcare services they provide are subpar, and they constantly fail to make appointments when needed. On several occasions, I have been told that certain treatments or consultations are not included in their healthcare package, despite being led to believe otherwise. This lack of transparency is frustrating and misleading. Overall, their healthcare package is poor, and their customer service does not help in resolving these issues effectively.
Along 2 years I had several examinations here: gynecologist, stomach ultrasound, intolerance blood test and dermatologist surgery... All doctors and nurses were very kind and professional and suggested me further types of recommendations for follow up with my issues.
I had an amazing experience with them. Everything was super quick and call center is easily reachable. There was a problem about my blood test results but they arranged another appointment really quickly. They also informed me that they will refund the difference between two tests. I am really thankful for everyone helping me especially the people in call center. Thank you!
The most horrible hospital, especially customer service. Service is the lowest possible in the whole country. I never experience such unprofessionalism in any other clinics. During weekends and public holiday I was not able to call the customer service line, so I sent them an email since for laboratory tests you can ONLY DO IT VIA EMAIL or PHONE. So I sent an email, no response, so I called them but it was an automatic response. You can’t call them, only THEY CAN CALL you. The system is stupid, the website is misleading and prices too, since you need an english speaking doctor you need to pay EXTRA for that. Overcharging, unprofessional and do not respond to the sick patient quickly.
After complaining i received an extremely professional service in a short time for a realistic price.Rating updated from 1* to 4****The worst customer service experience ever.
Trash! Has full insurance and can't give any appointment within a month aaaaand THEN ASKS YOU TO PAY HUGE OF AMOUNT MONEY IF IT IS EMERGENCY lolololol, just get free money from companies and sit there and ask you to pay if it is emergency. DOOONT recommend for anyone! it is not a hospital.
Worse Possible Care Provided:I chose Medicover for my Child Birth Due to below reason.1. Language Barrier: Medicover People Speaks English so it should be easy.2. Except one Nurse : No Nurse speaks English in Baby Care Department and except few no nurse speaks English in mid wife sectionInspite of knowing that neither me and nor my wife speaks Hungarian : Out of 3 nights Spend: for 2 Nights there were none of nurse were speaking English and my wife had to make them understood using google translate and that too her already painful condition.2. Food Quality: Worst possible food is given for vegetarians.One on hand doc was saying to avoid food which could cause gas and on other hand Gaseous foods are being served from Medicover!3. Here comes my worst nightmare which is still not stopped:My wife's sutures were not done properly and got infection in 2 weeks. for that Medicover re did them again(At Medicover cost) at 3rd week and after that start charging us for control appointment(2 times) and by that time Medicover just wanted to get rid of this case and finally doc said every thing is ok and come back after 3 months but my wife is still in pain so looking at such behavior from medicover we had second opinion and seems there the sutures done for second time also is not done correctly and there is gap and now it might need to lead another round of sutures.So in the end my wife's medical case is ruined by Medicover so I would put second thought for people who wants to go for them and inspite for paying an hefty amount of 800K HUF we are still doing rounds of hospitals just because team in medicover could not do their job properly !
I'm from the UK and had a hysterectomy operation done in Budapest. The operation was carried out in the utmost professional and skilful manner. I couldn't have ask for a better treatment or outcome. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive. I'm very grateful for the first class service I received.
After a brief conversation with the reception staff, they kindly refused to give me an appointment. There are some services that they advertise but do not really do them. Also, they turned me down without seeing me. So how did they know that I have a condition that they cannot deal with without any details? Unprofessional. Very disappointed.
I traveled almost 4 hours to get to the Medicover for my appointment, from Baranya. And waiting 10 minutes for me, because I was in a traffic jam, was clearly too much for this doctor. We even called to warn we would be 10 minutes late and the reception told us then it wasn't a problem.. Wouldn't recommend...
Very good experience. I always use it for normal appointments and doctors are always very nice, and everything is punctual. Since im insured by my employer, i dont pay, so i dont know about the prices. I had tonsillectomy surgery which was not covered by my insurance, but there was 20% discount. Dr Csoka Janos did my surgery. It was very successfull. The night at hospital was great, nurses took very great care of me. Healing process was very easy.
I had an absolutely ridiculous experience with Medicover. I strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs. It is nearly impossible to get an appointment with them, and their customer service is extremely lacking. Every time I called, they were clueless, unable to assist, and promised someone would call me back, which never happened. The receptionist seemed completely useless and lacked any knowledge or ability to help.I visited the center for a blood test and gastroenterology consultation. Days before my appointment, I tried contacting them to modify my blood test for a more thorough diagnosis, but they were utterly unhelpful. They had no idea which package to recommend and told me to check their website. Even upon arriving at the center and informing the receptionist of my request, she couldn't assist and directed me upstairs. The level of incompetence and lack of coordination was incredibly frustrating.During my appointment, I explained to the nurse that I needed to modify my package. Instead of offering support, she blamed me for not addressing it earlier and told me to ask at the reception. She rushed through the blood draw in just five minutes, displaying a complete lack of professionalism. Shockingly, she didn't even wear gloves while taking my blood, raising serious concerns about hygiene.Furthermore, when I needed to schedule a gastroenterology procedure (commonly referred to as a "stomach mirror"), I couldn't make an appointment at the reception. I was instructed to call a call center, where the representative couldn't provide me with an appointment, assuring me that someone would call back. Despite emphasizing the urgency due to my limited stay in the country, I never received a call. Multiple follow-up attempts have been fruitless, leaving me without the necessary medical attention.This has been one of the worst experiences I've had within the medical industry. I paid a significant amount of money, expecting better service, but it was worse than what one would even receive from a free medical service. I strongly urge anyone seeking quality care and wanting to save their nerves and money to avoid this place.
my company has insured for us for free treatment, But when i made appointment for doctor, they said they will send confirmation to my phone which did not happen. I called them again, they said only after 24 hours. and several days passed, nothing happen
Not professional at all. Most of the doctors just want to get over you as fast as they can. It seems to me that it is all about the money, not about curing at all. I experienced some misdiagnosises for myself too..
Doctors are way below PROFESSIONAL level, that does not correspond to the level of medical services in EU.Reception staff were USELESS and UNFRIENDLY!Customer service is TERRIBLE, if you have a complaint you will never get reply.For such high price, you would expect different level of service and professionalism! I used to be international student in Hungary and I have been covered by medicover. They are one of the best healthcare system in the Hungary. People might say they are expensive or something else but we should not forget that they are privately owned and most of the private companies is there for to make money and give quality services.I used their service three and I was quite happy with them. One of the best healthcare system in this country.
Not satisfied at all. Been there several times. Both staff and doctors (with a few exceptions) were unfriendly, customer service is terrible if you have a complaint. What is worse, I found that some doctors are way below the professional level one would expect them to be at such a place for such a price. Not going there again if I can help it. You should find another place too!
Malheureusement, mon opinion négative ne repose pas sur l'expérience combinée d'un examen médical spécifique, mais de plusieurs examens médicaux indépendants. Je suis assuré depuis plusieurs années, mais à chaque fois que j'ai utilisé les services d'une clinique, j'ai vécu la même chose: les médecins interrogent le patient superficiellement, puis après la deuxième phrase ils prennent un clavier et commencent à taper de façon folle, à partir de là, il est inutile de parler, presque pas d'entendre. Une étude d'env. 10 minutes, dont environ 3 minutes de communication substantielle médecin-patient. Il est positif qu'ils soient référés immédiatement pour tout examen d'imagerie, vraiment dans un délai très court, mais malheureusement, l'évaluation des résultats (que le médecin lit 2 minutes avant que le patient ne soit appelé) est aussi superficielle et dénuée de sens que la première visite. Le problème est quelque part que Medicover n'est pas un assureur individuel mais fournit des employés de l'entreprise en groupes, il est donc totalement indifférent de savoir si un patient individuel est satisfait du service, car sinon, l'entreprise ne mettra pas fin à la convention collective. À partir de maintenant, vous pouvez opter pour des soins aux patients de type convoyeur, expulsant le patient avec un temps et des réponses significatifs, mais généralement sans conséquences. Je l'obtiens de mon travail en tant qu'avantage marginal, le 0 HUF que je paie pour le service en vaut la peine, mais si je devais même payer pour ces examens superficiels et absurdes de temps en temps, je me sortirais certainement des ennuis.
Nous avons rendu visite à Medicover à cause de la jambe cassée de ma mère. Le médecin qui le traitait était impoli et condescendant, envisageant son renvoi pendant le traitement. Ils ne peuvent pas appliquer de plâtre ambulant. Le plâtre temporaire appliqué était inconfortable et beaucoup trop serré au site de fracture, causant beaucoup de douleur après le retrait. Le médecin n'a pas donné de conseils clairs basés sur les radiographies, mais a laissé à ma mère le soin de décider de toute intervention chirurgicale qui pourrait être nécessaire plus tard. Les rayons X ont été obtenus sur un CD écrit au lieu de tout support plus moderne ou de stockage par courrier électronique, basé sur le cloud. Je ne recommande Medicover à aucun niveau aux personnes qui nécessitent des soins similaires.
Kritikán aluli ügyfélmenedzsment a Covid óta. A biztonsági őrök modora kritikán aluli. Megfontolandó lenne egy alapvető kommunikációs tanfolyam elvégzésének megkövetelése, mielőtt a cég arcai lesznek akikkel először találkozik az ügyfél. Az elmúlt évek alatt lecsökkent az amúgy remek színvonal és maradt a szürke magyar valóság. Nagy ívben kerülendő.

Lors de l'examen cardiologique à l'effort, l'infirmière a dû tenir la sonde ECG car elle a interféré avec l'ECG en raison de la rupture des fibres qu'il contient!Ils voulaient envoyer mes trouvailles numériquement, par e-mail pour 1000 HUF par page! Au 21ème siècle, il faut payer pour un email !!!! Lorsque je voulais porter plainte, le greffier "ne pouvait pas appeler son superviseur pour un appareil ou donner un contact où je pourrais me plaindre".Les prix des examens ne sont pas toujours indiqués avec l'évaluation, vous devez donc tout de même payer un supplément après l'examen (sauf si vous n'êtes pas médecin et que vous vous évaluez!).
Tessen erősen figyelni, és előre tisztázni az árakat. A "kell egy röntgen" az nálunk háromszoros díjat jelentett, mert UTÓLAG derült ki, hogy miután kifizettük a röntgent, fizethetünk ki még kettőt. Na, így lehet elveszíteni az ügyfelet. Erősen lehúzásszagú, és ezért nem ajánlott a hely!
EVLT done on both legs by Dr Csók Viktor.Cannot praise him enough on being professional as well as kind. Had two separate operations with a week gap inbetween, both with laser but different anesthesia to avoid complications.The EVLT was smooth but due to the large surface- Dr Csok operated 4 hours in total on me - recovery was painful.Nevertheless the nurses were kind especially Beatrix ! CLINIQUE A EVITER POUR DES IMPLANTS DENTAIRES !Mes 2 couronnes se dévissent et bougent. Je me suis rendu dans cette clinique en janvier 2019 pour faire 2 implants sur mâchoire inférieure (36 et 37). Le dentiste me dit qu'il n'y a pas de problème pour faire 2 implants et décide l'implantation avec le dr BODNAR. Depuis c'est la vrai galère !!!j'ai fais 3 séjours supplémentaires pour tenter de faire stabiliser mes couronnes (transvissées) et à chaque fois de retour chez moi, dès que je mange dessus, elles bougent et se dévissent et pourtant je fais attention à ce que je mange ! Je viens de faire déposer la couronne 37 chez un dentiste parisien (voir photo) que j'ai payé au prix fort et il m'a dit que ça ne servait à rien de la refixer car elle bougera de nouveau car les couronnes ne s'ajustent pas à mes gencives et sont mal faites. De plus vous aurez beaucoup de mal à trouver un dentiste car les dentistes en France ne veulent pas toucher des implants qu'ils n'ont pas fait, surtout fait à l’étranger. Maintenant la clinique m'indique que si je veux régler le problème, il faut revenir une 5ème fois à Budapest et qu’il est préférable de refaire les couronnes (580 € à payer). On vous raconte tout et n’importe quoi, par exemple : « si les couronnes ne tiennent pas c’est parce que vous avez une forme de mâchoire spéciale » ou encore « c’est parce que vous avez une forte mastication » !!! J'ai reçu un devis de 580 € à payer en plus des frais de séjours. La garantie ne fonctionne pas dans ce cas m'a t-on dit. Pourtant j'ai une bonne hygiène dentaire et ne fume pas et je ne prends aucun traitement. Et je ne suis pas un cas isolé car une patiente française rencontrée lors de mon 4ème séjour dans la salle d’attente avait le même problème. Combien d’autres ? Mon sentiment global dans cette clinique : Beaucoup de PUB sur leur site Internet et leur blog qui ne reflète pas la qualité du travail effectué sur place. L'équipe est assez jeune et donc évidemment inexpérimentée ! D’ailleurs, vous ne voyez jamais le même dentiste (BODNAR Adam, Zvolt PERENYI, Szakal Adorjan...), comme cela personne n'est vraiment responsable du travail s’il y a un problème. Couronnes de mauvaises qualités, grosses et pas esthétiques. On s'arrange pour vous fixer vos couronnes le dernier jour avant votre départ. C'est pour dire l'assurance qu'ils ont du résultat ! Par contre, les locaux sont modernes et la clinique est bien placée en centre ville (Médicover et Mdental c'est la même). Vous aurez droit à un bon accueil et une bonne organisation de votre séjour. Evitez cette clinique sauf si vous aimez les problèmes et perdre votre argent ! Vous pourrez voir en photo ma couronne déposée.
Egy egyszerű, 10 perces konzultációra volt időpontom. Érkezéskor jelezték, hogy az orvos épp műt, ezért csak 2 órával később tud fogadni. Emiatt hívtak korábban, amit nem tudtam felvenni, majd amikor visszahívtam őket, nem jelezték a fenti problémát, úgyhogy “ha ragaszkodom az aznapi vizsgálathoz, akkor 2 óra múlvára tudnak új időpontot adni.” Ez így 25.000 Forint, amit pont azért fizetek ki, hogy elkerüljem a hasonló, állami eü-re jellemző helyzeteket.

J'ai été très satisfaite de l'accueil, du service et de la gentillesse du personnel. L'organisation de mon séjour, le transfert de l'aéroport, tout était magnifique.
