unprofessional outpatient finance department very unhelpful. In addition i called to call center to ask for information but they don’t know their products knowledge, keep transferring a call and let me wait for more than 30 mins for nothing!!!!
This hospital is surprisingly the best so far during my years in Thailand. I can easily use the SSF and still got a very nice services. Since the moment I arrived and directed to International Service and they speak very fluent English, super prompt and helpful to get me to the right procedures and steps that needed. Very neat system, no time wasted, quick, affordable and good treatments. Surely recommend this hospital, esp if you're farang. They got it right! 👍👍
Here is a comprehensive review of a case of double inguinal hernia surgery performed at Sikarin hospital, in september 2021, by doctor Montian.I am 63-year old, native from France. At time of surgery I was pretty much underweight, 50 kg for 1.80m tall. It so happened that during surgery, doctor Montian decided to add a second mesh on my right side groin. So I woke up with one mesh on left side and two meshes on right side. Doctor Montian explained that he found my abdominal wall very thin, especially on the right side, and decided to add a second mesh so that a larger surface on my abdominal wall could be re-inforced.Of course this was done without me being able to say yes or no since I was already under anesthesia.I was worried of course about how my body would behave while recovering, but the doctor found the words to keep me reassured.Back home a very difficult recovery time awaited for me! From post-operation-second week to the fifth week, I had to endure frequent twinges sensations on the right side of my abdomen.I was walking a lot on the beach, doing meditation and eating very healthy fresh food (0% processed food!). But it was a real headache to find the right balance between resting and doing enough exercise to recover, just because of these symptoms. On the sixth week I started to have nausea after eating my meal. I had the feeling that because of the meshes located in the lower abdomen, there was an unusual pressure in the upper abdomen, very uncomfortable. Symptoms were worsening instead of becoming less, and I felt very depressed about all this. The left side of the abdomen had no problem at all, but on the right side I was feeling that it would never heal. I had read so many scaring reports about chronic pain on internet, and here I was with two meshes on the right side, instead of only one. Psychological suffering added on top of physical pain: “why did the doctor put two meshes instead, what a risk!”, “why did they operate at night instead of daytime, what a risk!”I live 300km away from Bangkok and I did not want to go back to the city for checking.I e-mailed to Ernie and Randee, the two Filipino public relation officers at Sikarin Hospital, and as usual, they proved to be very helpful and efficient. They quickly arranged a conversation by phone with doctor Montian. With his ultra soft tone voice and carefully chosen words, doctor Montian once more succeeded in reassuring me. He told me to be patient, and that although the healing process was difficult because of these additional mesh, it would finally improve. And it did! At that time, I started to go to the swimming pool daily. Floating on my back, I would gently kick the water with my feet for two or three minutes. After a few days I noticed the symptoms were lessening. Slowly increasing little by little the swimming exercises, from the seventh week on, symptoms cleared up more and more, and after eight weeks, I had become totally symptom free!Almost three months now after surgery, I hardly remember that I underwent any operation at all!All credit goes to Sikarin hospital amazing people, firstly of course to doctor Montian, who proved to be both an outstanding surgeon and a very kind and caring person. And secondly to Ernie and Randee who were so helpful at all time, before during and after surgery time. Not to mention the unmatched Thai hospitality displayed so naturally by nurses and staff from all departments. For an always better service I wish to give the following advice. We, foreigners are people who can get depressed much quicker and more deeply that our Thai fellow-people. To avoid, or at least lessen, some of the psychological suffering I endured after surgery, in a similar case of an underweight patient to undergo hernia surgery, I would suggest that a ct scan or ultrasound be performed on arrival, to find out before anesthesia, if an additional mesh may be needed. Thank you again to you all who work so diligently at Sikarin Hospital.
They provide translator (English and 中文) for international visitors. The hospital is quite flexible to suit your needs.Facility is clean and new. Very comfy.
The reception service is very slow and don't have any reason that we can explain this complain. They work like a slot. If you come here you should follow them when you have been waited.
My experience with Ernie Valencia and the whole team for my travel PCR test and certificates was very smooth, professional, and easy, especially as I had a quick turnaround required with only one day in Bangkok before my international flights. I would recommend Sikarin for your travel testing and document needs.
Equipment good (rooms lousy), doctors OK, but: bureaucracy and customer and patient handling, zero out of ten. Worst hospital in Bangkok area. Avoid like the plague.
It used to be a good hospital with acceptable prices, but the last times I was there the insurance budget is never enough. My daughter needed 3 stitches on her leg and the 6000thb from the insurance weren't enough to cover it. I'm very disappointed!
I did not read reviews before selecting this hospital, lucky I didnt as I have nothing but nice things to say about my treatment and care, I was always kept in the loop about what treatment I was receiving.I ended up having 2 operations and all staff helped me greatly. They may have changed the way they get you to pay as I had very little wait time when I did have to pay at the counter and for big payments they came to my room.So to Ernie, Randy and Gig and all the IMC staff and also especially the english speaking nurses on my ward.
Very slow they make you wait around for hours and hours, even after everything is finished and all you are trying to do is pay then leave, they dont respect your time and make you wait for ours for no reaseon.

EXCELLENT. Je me suis emmené là-bas.
worst hospital, Doctor have no bedside manner and ability to cure, go other hospital, here is very expensive and service is the worst.the nurse here spend most of here time playing cell phone, not care about patient at all.Doctor here are nightmare as well, they are no good, missed diagnose my grandma.
I'm Kevin, the founder of the site. My personal journey has made me understand how important it is to be well informed before a cosmetic, dental, hair or reproductive medicine procedure. Today I want to help those who are considering a medical trip, by offering them information on the procedures, their costs, preparation and post-operative follow-up. Although my articles are written with the greatest care, they in no way replace the personalized advice of a health professional. I invite you to discover my story to better understand my approach.
