Feels so frustrating for discharge. Waiting time takes more than 7 hours. Management should assign more than 1 personnel. The person for discharge will be more stress before leaving. 1 guy for admission and discharge. How? Something is wrong with the process. You had to follow up each dept involve for discharge. Though, the nurses and aids are respectul and good. Facility is clean.
First time visited the Hospital, good impression, clean environment. I have seen lack of centralized token system. Specially in Pediatric section, long waiting time and no proper queue in place, calling the patient based on the paper provided, manual system. Would be better if there is token system available.
I sincerely suggest to avoid this hospital to each and everyone in my reach unless you have no other option.Have to wait more than 2 hours to get admitted. 1 person handles the admission process for the whole hospital. To get discharged that's a lifetime wait for almost 8 hours. After Doctor came and advised discharge at 9am. Until 3pm the papers are still in the billing section. In summary of the whole stay at the hospital, the ratio of treatment (20%) and unnecessary waiting (80%) is 1:4.From morning nothing but just waiting as if our time is of no value.
They used to be good but not anymore. Have to wait more than2 hours to get admitted. 1 person handles the admission process for the whole hospital. No rooms are ready! Then when you get discharged that's another wait for infinity. Doctor came and advised discharge at 7am. Until 12 noon the paper is still in the billing section. Guess what the same person handling discharge. When i went for enquiry she said She prioritizes admission over discharge. From morning nothing but just waiting as if our time is of no value. Please understand the problem here until you discharge the patient, you won't have rooms available for admission. Kindly employ more staff for this process!I have been with Zulekha since 2012 and had both our kids there but now things have changed drastically and the standards have fallen instead of getting better.Don't send staff to do customer service survey when you can provide it in the first place.
Met Dr. Romelie few months back at the first time by chance. She’s very approachable, empathetic and very professional. Explains things very well plus giving very good advice. She’s so good and prompt that I even told my wife to visit her as well and we chose her to be our personal doctor. Overall Zulekha gave the best service for us so far.
I regret choosing Zulekha Hospital. I don't understand how people are giving positive ratings. I initially came from Al Futtaim Health Hub; unfortunately, they don't have a hospital. If they did, I would never have come to this hospital.During my recent visit, I requested that they deliver medicine to my place, emphasizing the importance of not repeating the delay from the last time. They agreed, but disappointingly, they repeated the same delay.Another issue I encountered is with their app, which is proving to be quite useless and often gives errors. I reported this to the receptionist, who then directed me to the help desk. They claimed they would contact their IT department and promised to call me back. However, nobody bothered to follow up or call me.
My wife was admitted few months ago and Ms. Merlin who was in admissions department was politely assisted and guided us on all those days we stayed in the hospital. Apart from that we had bitter experiences in most of the services. The above stars given only to her. Thanks Ms. Merlin for your wonderful service keep doing the good work.💐
If there are six, I would touch sixth star without any doubt.I had experienced last week to stay one night with my friend who was hit by a car and deformity left shoulder & head injury. He suffered from brain concession.Doctor Chidananda, orthopaedic, HOD, awesome man and expert in his field, who operated very well, fixation of hook plates while surgery of my friend. I spent a night with my friend for looking after and experienced this hospital like a four star hotel management and maintenance. I tried to find some flaw in services, maintenance, cleaning or any field but invain. We met Neurologist, Dr. Nasir for head injury, he treated him well and make sure there was no internal head injury. Alhamdulillah.I would recommend, if someone needs any kind of medical services, should visit once without any doubt.Thank you everyone in the team of Zulekha Hospital Al Nahda Dubai.Stay blessed
I was diagnosed with L5-S1 Lumbar pain and approached the Out patient and the duty doctor said have to do the immediate surgery for which I wasn’t convinced and contact Dr Chidananda Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon next day and he treated me and am walking freely without pain.Over all is he a good person with positive approach towards the patient. The way he speak and treat the patience is really a God gift for him.I had recommend one of my friend to consult him and even he is very much satisfied with him and would recommend him to any of the relative or friends.
Day by day, the performance of the hospital is going down. I am not talking about the doctors or Inpatient services but especially about the outpatient services. The main massive improvement areas are registration and pharmacy services. These two are awfully slow. I visited the hospital on 12 Sep 2023 and had to wait for 50 minutes to be called for medicines. I don't understand this because they boast of robotic pharmacy which should actually speed up the process. I have been visiting this hospital for almost 11 years and I can easily say they were better off without robotic pharmacy. As I am writing this review , I am not yet done with the medicine dispensation.
Wafaa the Deputy Hospital Administrator saw my review on Google and was quite responsive to take my feedback into stride which assured me that there is quality control. I had a small incident at the hospital and she was super helpful in solving it ! Overall clean facilities and quick service.
The services are good.Only the reception taking little long time to register.Good atmosphere.Neat and clean. All staffs are good.Taking too long time in the pharmacy for medicine, always some counter no staff and patients are awaiting long queue
I hope you will find reviews useful. What’s special about place: it is located in Al Nahda area, nothing special about hospital.Customer service: It was my first visit to the hospital, and I’m sure it was last as well. I came to gynecology visit with proper appointment(through their call center, and booking confirmation with doctor name and timing), as it’s mentioned in the sms I came to place 15minutes early. But they made me to wait until 12pm, still end up they are giving me another doctor 🤦🏽♀️. As one staff is saying doctor is busy, giving consultation for another patient, another staff says, doctor is in the surgery since morning, it seemed maybe they don’t know themselves where is doctor 🤭I wanted to highlight to hospital customer relationship department, please educate your reception staff first of all: not to give lie information to customer or at least not to being rude, as they are doing favor for patients. Wasting patients’ more than 1 hour plus , showing their attitude, and not caring to anything, just chit chatting and giving A FACE, when you approach them, plus patient is in pain, I don’t think it will be ok for hospital reputation.Cleanness: seemed ok, but at least they should provide drinking water dispensers in the waiting areas, as they are kept on waiting their patients more than one hoursPrices: until you ask, they don’t tell you for what they are charging youParking: free parking is available in front of hospitalOverall experience: DISAPPOINTED
It’s not a good effort to write an experience about a hospital 🏥. May Allah safe all of us and give us healthy life. As far as this hospital concern. Zulekha Hospital Al Nahda, Dubai is very finest hospital. You might experience a little delay if you are visiting it first time. They require a little long procedure to open patient file and little extra charges (AED 30).As per as the services concern. It’s fine. I went to meet the eye specialist. Their process to diagnostic is very satisfying. Staff was very friendly. Creation of the reports was very quick maximum 5 minutes and then I met the Doctor Iqbal Khan. Nice doctor and experience. A little outspoken but serious to the job.Hospital 🏥 is very clean. There is ample public parking available. Paid on week days and free over the weekend (Sunday).
Great hospital, one of the best in Dubai. My son was born in this hospital, and now we are planning to have our new baby born in the same hospital. The nursing staff are amazing. Hospital is very clean and not crowded. Well managed health facility.
Zulekha Hospital Dubai is one of the best hospital I have seen and utilized service from. All doctors are very professional and all staff are very friendly.Highly experienced doctors. All essential disciplines/departments are available.Very happy with the overall service.
The medical service we've had was phenomenal! My brother went to the emergency due to an intense stomach pain and was immediately seen by the attending physician. The hospital environment is nice and very clean. The staff communicated in a compassionate and kind way.
Great hospital, one of the best in Dubai. The doctors are some of the best. The nursing staff especially in critical care are amazing. Hospital is very clean and not crowded. Well managed health facility.
I was happy to stay in 205 ward... my wife was admitted here! I am happy by the quality care given by all the nurses during the course of stay... I recommend this hospital. Good Customer Relationship too.
Everyone should avoid going to this hospital, in my opinion. We had a poor experience with this hospital when we took our 5-year-old child for gastrointestinal difficulties, vomiting, and a minor cough. The only reason we went to this hospital was because it was close to our house and it was late at night. Many of our colleagues also advised us to avoid the hospital. We only realized when we came to visit. Especially from the perspective of pediatricians and emergency room personnel. The emergency department's staff provides poor service; we arrived at midnight and they refused to see the patient, even though they were immediately transferred to the pediatric section to generate more revenue from parents' feelings about their children.Unwanted blood testing and medicines are the most inconvenient aspects of their work. When we asked for a thorough bill after the patient was discharged, they refused; nonetheless, we are preparing to inquire about this subject with our insurance carrier as soon as possible.Another issue we had was that when we arrived with vomiting, our daughter was only treated after 2 hours (as we previously stated, she had vomited 8 times and was dehydrated).*The only positive thing we saw was that the nurses' services were excellent*0 Stars
This hospital is not a hospital its a big clinic take the name of hospital , its look like some new people come to enjoy here by working as doctors and nurses, all details like emails between insurance and the hospital are hidden, i wait more than a week to change the MRI that assigned to a clinic not pick up the phone or answer the hospital then after long drama sceniro they change the clinic, it's first time in my whole experience of life to see doctor send negative feelings to the patient. The doctor write to me 4 kind of medicine after then the insurance people in the hospital told me that the insurance agree on only 2 because you have already taken before, I wondered because its the first time to register to this insurance mynas because its a new company, after I fight them they send back told me they approved on 4 medicine, please don't go to this hospital please
Good hospitals in Dubai which has lot of space and doctors. But there is no coordination between the staffs and other units. Last week I got a appointment at 7 pm and for the follow-up session couple of days after at 5 pm, both the days had to wait around 3 hrs to see the doctor, there is no respect towards the appointment made and patient's time. The staffs at the reception counters don't know how to greet the patients, you will feel like you are asking for some charity treatment. This place need a serious change in the staff attitude.
The Doctors are good but not the nurses. They don't care about appointment or who comes first. If someone from their region (or native language speaker) comes then they send them making other people wait outside. This happened with us in Gynaecology department. We were on time, have all papers ready and waiting outside consulting room, she told us we are next. Then some people came and spoke with her in her native language so she sent them directly.
Thanks to the Hospital administrator and maintenance dept for their courtesy call on my feedback.I can understand genuinely they are concerned about the patients welfare.Visited on 17th Feb 2022 , my insurance card was not valid but the hospital treated me free as a second opinion. The cardiology department is Excellent and the doctors are highly experienced and knowledgeable concerned about the patient .
They have best doctors and nurses but most of their reception, insurance and admin staff is worst. They even do not know how to speak with patients. Even their superiors like Mr. Shaheen (admin staff) will try to humiliate you as much as he can. Looks like he is recruited on some relation and enjoying his life there- doing nothing. If you are new patient to them & have some emergency then never ever visit them in day time... they will never facilitate you by any means. Whenever i visited them, i always witnessed people are worried by their reception and admin staff. Also, be careful to deal with their insurance department. They always try to charge you more than in your insurance. Also, they do not have any single free parking option.
Worst hospital that I ever visited in Dubai.Wanted to do contraceptive implant in hand.1 there is no free parking for customers.2 the ques are so long came 10 min before appointment, reached cabinet after 30 min.3 I wanted to insert implant, consultation fees (where is no consultation) higher than procedure itself)4 I had to go around pharamcies and buy my own implant it took me couple of hours to find it5 Doctor was asking nurse what to do...Really it's last place to visit for medical services
Absolutely pathetic hospital. Horrible staff, as bad as it can get. Extremely uncooperative and preposterous service. It is the worst hospital I’ve been to. We needed to get a pcr test so my daughter could go to school and we waited for a whole hour but there were no nurses available. Staff constantly coming up with excuses. Do NOT go there. Staff publicly berating us.
I have been visiting here since 2010. I think this is the only hospital which takes money upfront before even you go to consulting doctor. They are money keen. I remember my son treatment started with a 13k approval upfront before even moving to the room. Also they asked my wife to carry our sedated son in her arms to the radiology department in ground floor from the room. I had to stop and ask why no stretcher or bed provided for an unconscious child who was weighing around 13kg. They said the staff was not available. Still after ten years they are still charging you before you go to meet the doctor.
Zulekha hospital is best hospital for affordable and better treatment from my experience. The doctors here are very much committed to help patients in the part of right diagnosis and prescribing exact medicines. Inside Zulekha hospital there is a cafeteria working all time.
I had an appointment with dentist after a weeks time. When I visited the hospital after a long wait they asked me to fill registration form, in the meantime they will get approval from insurance company. After filling my form the reception lady is saying that approval will take time and I should follow up with my insurance company. I m surprised , I came to see the doctor and not to follow up with my insurance company .I was asking her roughly how long it takes with my insurance provider and she don’t have answer. Guys you work there and you should know all these and not the patients. Definitely not a worth to visit again. Note: Educate your receptionist properly especially the one in the first floor who takes care of dental reception. Worst service in my life time and that too in a hospital. Am shocked. People who don’t respect the patients.
I present my heartfelt gratitude to Dr.Ishtiyaq Ahmed, General Practitioner in Emergency Department of Zulekha Hospital, Dubai for the excellent treatment provided to me. I had undergone proper treatment for my wound as the doctor handled the situation very professionally and helped me recover. I am very satisfied with the care and cure at this hospital.
Very bad service. I book an appointment for my wife. When ever you call any hospital they will ask insurance or cash. If insurance which insurance. Is this to check if insurance is covering or no cover by this visitor will not waste it times they didn't asked me Anyway I booked appointment for dermatology and the dermatology reception is so unprofessional asking me to check with my insurance. The first time I called American hospital there so professional they did ask me which insurance before booking the appointment. I only visited because of doctor reviews were good. I will never visit this place I will also update my friends please do check before booking an appointment if your insurance is covering or no because there costumers service will never tell you so you pay cash.
Big thank goes to Dr. Sunita for being such a great gynecologist ,most of all being kind human being. We made the right choice by choosing her for our 3rd baby. She is well experienced and listen to our questions and explained all the details clearly. Very proactive doctor. Thanks again 👍
Doctor’s and nursing team very good. They are specialized in handling patient. Reception section need to improve more. It looks reception section less trained and not coordinated with other department of hospital.
Good doctors but hospital is into money making. We went for Emergency and the nurse did not assign Triage level and instead suggested us to go to a specialist doctor so that hospital can benefit.Insurance person tried to manipulate the emergency triage level and were trying to spread misinformation so that they do not need to follow DHA guidelinesWhat should have taken 1 hour took more than 4 hours of mental trauma for me and my wife who was waiting helplessly on a wheelchair with a broken foot
The hospital is clean and organized, but there is kind of laziness from the staff, nurses, doctors assistant, My appointment was not on time , I have to wait for the doctor 40 minutes to finish his personal phone call , last time visit the nurse she forgot to send the approval request for the insurance, and I need to call her next day to remind her, After first visit and long explanation about my case to the doctor, i didn’t expect that in my follow up visit, he will me remember my case or what happened or what’s the medication I’m taking, I feel very despondent, and for me , or I was talking to my self last time , or the doctor he didn’t even go throw my file , which in both case it’s very unprofessional, I heard lot of some hospitals and doctors , they do it for business, but for the first time ( in 10 years ) I felt it , Anyway that was my experience, perhaps. Others had a better
