I found Dr. Serkan Aydin’s clinic after reading other reviews and I can confirm that the whole experience is 5-star.Berk was assigned to me right from the beginning. Wonderful person, he was very informative during the booking process on WhatsApp, always available to reply to questions. At the clinic, Berk guided every step, literally one-to-one for the whole day, and provided excellent follow-up care.The whole experience was smooth and professional from the pickup at the airport, to the hotel booking and transportation to the clinic.The clinic is fantastic: the common areas look like a co-working space that puts everybody in a community at ease. The owner has a huge art collection from famous artists displayed in all spaces, making it also look like a museum.On the other hand, The treatment areas are what we can expect from a healthcare environment : very neat and well-designed for surgery and ease of sanitizing. Staff are very attentive during treatment (there were three in my room) and the doctor comes to check at regular intervals to explain the process.A huge thank you to Berk and all staff to provide such a world class experience. Living in Asia i can say that we are miles away having such genuine clinics where Dr. Serkan Aydin’s passion and professionalism can be felt at every corner.

Just finished my trip to Istanbul to visit the Serkan Aygın clinic. And everything went really really really well I must say.From the beginning of my interactions with this clinic, communication has been great. Like many others in this situation I’ve researched for the longest on which clinic to go to, and had a million questions and concerns before signing up for surgery.My contact person was Berk, who did an excellent job at providing all information both before, during and after surgery. The guy is attentive, responsive at all times of the day and super friendly!! The best one could wish for when doing this procedure.The operation itself was carried out by technicians, who didn’t rush through the operation. It was a very long day, but at the end I got a great result, so far.Even though this place does a lot of operations in one day (the place is huge and filled with people), all staff that I interacted with were kind and attentive (and everyone knows your name somehow). The atmosphere in the clinic was high-end and professional.Doctor Serkan drew the line during consultation — he was very friendly although only there for a brief moment. He later came in during the operation to check the hairline and redraw it with his team. The entire operation took 7 hours. Prepare for a long day at the clinic.Everything from arrival to departure from Istanbul was taken care of by the team, and everyone at the clinic were super kind.I don’t have much of a context of other places, but would definitely recommend reaching out to this clinic if you find yourself in the same position as I was.I would also recommend arriving one day earlier to avoid stress and to enjoy the city of Istanbul before surgery.Again, a massive thank you to Berk who has been the biggest help to make this a smooth process and good experience. From the initial enquiry I made through Dr Aygin's website, the service has been spot on. They dealt with initial questions by whatsapp and once I had booked in for treatment, the clinic were in contact with me the whole time and couldn't have made it any easier.I had 4,500 grafts altogether and am so pleased with the results! The treatment was painless, the aftercare was faultless, and I'd recommend this clinic without hesitation to anyone considering a transplant.When I got to Turkey, I was picked up at the airport and taken to my hotel, and each day was taken to and from the clinic by one of their drivers.On the first day I was taken to the operating room and given a mild anaethetic before they gave me loads of local anaesthetic in my head. Two surgeons worked constantly to remove the grafts, while a team of 4 or 5 at the back of the room counted the grafts and prepared them for transplant.Once all the grafts were out, I was given a sandwich & a drink, and then laid back down for the transplant. This went really well and didn't hurt at all (it just felt like someone gently tapping my head for ages!).After the surgery, I was given dinner and one of the doctors explained the process and the aftercare to me very clearly, and answered any questions I had.I returned to the clinic the next day where they gave me laser treatment, washed my head & treated it.They answered more questions, explained everything again and then I bought a pack of treatment creams and oils which help promote recovery over the coming months.I was taken back to the hotel and the following day was picked up and taken to the airport.After this, the clinic continued to stay in touch - they want progress pictures and remain on hand to answer any questions.I went in January 2023 and now 1 year on from having the transplant, I am so happy with the results - I can't fault them or recommend them highly enough!!If I had to give any advice? It would be to trust the process and do exactly what they say, especially for the first 6 months - look after the hair, use the creams and oils, be gentle, and also don't worry when it falls out initially around month 2 to 3, because in months 7 to 9 it all comes back thick and healthy and great!! (check the pictures - taken on day one, after 2 weeks, 3 months, then 10 months and one year).If you ever have doubts, you don't need to. This clinic is the one to use for sure!

Before I do my review, I would like to thank Dr. Serkan Aygin, Ali, Berk and Darin for their special attention given to me and my wife. To be honest, I was skeptical and a little bit afraid of what to expect before doing this hair transplant (HT) procedure. We did our research on multiple clinics not only in Turkey but also in the Asian countries (because I live in Indonesia). The more we research on this HT operation, the more confused we are on which clinic we should choose.I decided to choose Dr. Serkan Aygin clinic because I wanted a clinic that has long history of HT experience, excellent success rate and the most important of all is the safeness of myself as a patient while being operated. And I wasn't disappointed at all.Day 1 ( 1 March 2024):All of the doctors, nurses, staffs, drivers and even the hotel bell boys are so professional and friendly towards us. This put us at ease considering that many people have warned us about the negativity of Istanbul, Turkey. The day when we arrived at the clinic, it was so busy and many patients (either has done their HT or waiting for their turn for operation) were mainly just relaxing and chatting with the clinic staffs, while enjoying their complimentary drinks. And YES, there's a bar that serves non-alcoholic beverages of course. The moment I stepped into the clinic, I suddenly felt relax and secure because the overall place doesn't give me the vibes like an orthodox clinic of white walls, brochures and pricelist hanging on the walls. It feels like we were at an art gallery cafe.In terms of the operation review, all I can say is the process was smooth and well organized. They have nurses and doctors that have already been assigned to each different tasks. Most of them can't speak English well but the clinic has assigned me with a nurse that helps me translate throughout my HT operation. I was sedated and fell asleep most of my 6 hours operation. I didn't feel any kind of pain at all during the operation. And even after the operation, to be honest I felt quite fresh (maybe because I was glad the operation was over and all went very well). After the operation, Darin was assigned to me for post operation personal guidance. She speaks perfect English and explained to me very detailed and very well the DO's and DON'Ts. Thank you Darin for waiting until 10pm for my operation to end.Day 2 ( 2 March 2024):After a good night rest and felt no pain at all, we decided to tour around Istanbul and see what this great and historical city is about. Again, we were amazed at all the beautiful and preserved historical and modern buildings. We even get to the Besiktas Stadium to see them playing versus Galatasaray. It was an amazing experience.Note: Don't be ashamed to go out and explore the city, I met tens of people as well that had just done a HT operation by seeing the bandages on their heads. Apparently it's quite normal for the local people to see us in this state. And quite a few people even came up to me and ask about the overall HT experience and which clinic I went to.Day 3 ( 3 March 2024);Darin has made an appointment for me to go back to the clinic to take off the operation bandages, laser treatment and washing off my head. Ali, Berk and Darin bid us farewell as we sadly have to return to our homeland that night.Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our time in Istanbul and special thanks to Dr Serkan Aygin crew for the wonderful service they've given us. It's been a month since I've done the operation and so far so good. I can see significant progress as promised and I am proud and happy that I did my HT operation with Dr. Serkan Aygin clinic. I would strongly recommend people who are considering to do a HT operation to do your research well and just enjoy the experience like I did.Thank You

Amazing results. After 15 months, my hair is curly and long. Definitely worth the money, wait, and results. Dr. Serkan doesn’t do the actual surgery; however, he is there for the initial consultation and provides you with what you need and expect. Halfway through the surgery, he will come back to check and ensure the surgery is going well. His staff is professional and courteous. The operating rooms are modern, clean, and high tech. I recently had my hair done at Dr Serkan Aygin’s clinic and only have good things to say about my experience.Berk who has looked after me throughout the process has been a champion. I had passport issues which forced me to have to move my dates out and he was more than accommodating with helping me change my accommodation and clinic dates.He has been quick to respond to any questions Ive had and made the experience that much better.The clinic runs like a well oiled machine. Dr. Serkan Aygin's Clinic was absolutely fantastic. Dr. Serkan himself did a brilliant consultation with me where he almost read my mind, knew exactly what I wanted and designed a treatment plan comprising 3800 grafts (2200 from the head, 800 from the lower beard and 800 from the chest). I had gone to Dr. Serkan to fix the poor results from two disappointing previous treatments at a Harley Street London clinic. Dr. Serkan knew exactly what I needed, analysed and explained the whole situation brilliantly, in perfect English, and left me feeling very confident that he understood my customer needs. The actual surgery day was amazing, there were at least 6 staff working on me simultaneously, plus a couple of supervising doctors and anaesthetist, offering an unparalleled level of service. They gave me a light breakfast, brought me a wonderful sandwich and drink halfway through and a delicious late lunch after the treatment had finished. The operating theatre was so pristine and hi-tech. The staff doing the extraction and implanting were absolutely experts and super efficient, doing 3800 transplantations in just 6 hours. I also had plasma therapy and red laser light therapy on separate days to enhance the healing and growth of the new implants. The hotel was great and the limousine service back and forth from the airport and to the clinic was perfection, always on time, always VIP treatment. There was very little soreness from the treatment because they used the best tools with the best grade of materials and the highest levels of expertise. Finally, because of this amazing team, I am going to get my hair back fully and I cannot thank them enough. Simply put, this is THE BEST TRANSPLANT CLINIC IN THE WORLD. They are on a completely different level, clearly inspired by Dr. Serkan's brilliant drive, vision and leadership. It's a big deal getting your hair back. Thank you so much. You were all amazing. I would like to extend special thanksto Warda, who efficiently organized everything for me. Prior to the operation, I had the opportunity to meet the team, consisting of around five members, who introduced themselves to me. Dr. Serkan was sincere and honest throughout the process, and I am pleased to say that the operation was successful. The entire staff provided me with excellent support, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. Dr. Serkan saw me in person twice to decide the best method, number of grafts, hairline design, etc. for my hair transplant.It was a great pleasure to witness the level of professionalism, kindness, state-of-the-art facilities with very advanced technology, attention to detail, organization, cozy facilities with all the incredible art and much more, and I feel very happy and lucky I found them.This was the only clinic I considered for my hair transplant. I read a very detailed article from a previous patient and it was quite convincing, I researched more about the clinic, watched the 2019 European award being presented to Dr. Serkan Aygin, which completed my decision.I highly recommend this clinic to anyone considering a hair transplant. I didn't come here for the lowest cost, I came here for its reputation and quality and I am very glad that I was able to experience it and benefit from it.This is my fourth day after the procedure, I took a few more days to stay at my hotel in Istanbul to rest and make sure everything was okay before flying back home. They are already coordinating with the driver to take me back to the airport tomorrow and I already have one of their staff assigned for follow-up questions in the coming days and months.If possible, try to have your partner or a family member accompany you, it will make the experience even better and they will be able to help you with post-operative instructions, hair washing, etc.The clinic has fulfilled what was promised and more. Now it is my responsibility to do my part and have the discipline and commitment to follow the instructions. This could make the experience even greater.

Absolutely amazing!!! My partner and I made the trip from Australia to Turkey for my hair transplant procedure. I was amazed at the service that was provided by everyone involved at the clinic. From the moment I enquired about surgery right up until we left Turkey the professionalism and service couldn't have been any better. Once our flights were booked every step was taken care of for us. They booked a 5 star hotel for us, transport to and from the airport as well as back and forth to the clinic, the communication was constant letting you know every step along the way. The clinic is spectacular, with interpreters for all language. There was always someone with you from start to finish. I have never felt so welcome and looked after. Before, during and after surgery was excellent. The way the team care about you made the experience so much better than I ever thought it could be. We are back in Australia now and the team are still in contact, making sure the surgery is a success. If your thinking about a hair transplant, I highly recommend this. You won't be let down. Truly Amazing!!!!!

I was referred by a friend who had a very positive experience and sure enough the process was very smooth and easy. Being a doctor myself I was amazed by the high quality and the attention to details through out the entire process. Besiana ( the US coordinator ) was amazing and very helpful she meticulously planned everything. OR team was excellent and very professional, the same with post-op care the instructions were very clear.I would like to thank Dr. Serkan for this excellent experience.Definitely will recommend the place.

Everyone from the booking process, information provided, airport pickup , hotel stay all arrangement were put together by many staff of the hospital and they were very well arranged and organized. The surgery went well, they explain everything and always was on-time with appointments. It has only been four days since my surgery so i don’t have enough data yet. But i will update in a future once i have results, but so far so good. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff who have made it very comfortable stay and surgery.

I had an outstanding experience at Dr. Serkan clinic during my hair transplant procedure. The staff was incredibly professional, ensuring I was comfortable and well-informed throughout the entire process. Their automatic CRM bot ensures you wont miss any treatment protocol. weeks before the operation, and months after it. The procedure was virtually painless. I left the clinic feeling optimistic and well-taken care of, looking forward to seeing the results in a few months! Highly recommend for anyone considering a hair transplant.

I had my procedure on the 26 of May, everything went smooth they have consultants who speak all the languages you need. Quite expensive compared to the average market price, other than that there is nothing negative I can say about them. Special thanks to the professional staff who performed the operation, looking forward to see the results.

What a great clinic of Dr Serkan Aygin with an absolutely amazing attitude to the clients. Absolutely top level starting from the airport pickup, till picking up from the hotel to clinic and of course surgery itself. You do not need to be bothered with all those details at all. Berk is a great guy, very helpful in all kind of questions! All the hands up for his promotion 😋!Hair transplantation went really smoothly, real professionals are working over there! Much appreciated, as you say “we love hair” - so we do! :-)Now I understand why there is a some queue to this clinic, as they bring really amazing results!

Honestly, At first I was skeptical about my hair transplant in turkey. Did lot of research and found out Dr. Serkan is best for me. I made a right choice . Everything was so organized from airport pick up to hotel and the doctor visit. The operation theater was clean and well managed, staff were friendly and welcoming . I came from USA and did my surgery on March 16th 2021.Below is my before and after pictures after 1 year.

Great experience.Cannot thank the staff enough for their care and professionalism.Very well trained staff indeed.Its only been a week and I really hope the results come out as desired, but so far so good.I was pretty surprised Dr Serkan himself examines every patient before going to his/her/they/them operation.Great customer service, before and after - which trust me, matters more than the operation itself when anxiety levels are at their highest.You also feel like you’re in an art gallery. The place is an actual art house! Full of exquisite paintings, sculptures, drawings - very impressive.All very professional, great customer service, very well organised, all very polite, all speak different languages.Keep up the good work!

Came to Istanbul on vacation, wasn't supposed to have a hair transplant. Booked a free consultation just out of curiosity to ask a few questions. After seeing the level of professionalism by the Doctor and the team, i ended up extending my trip and doing the operation! Operation went smooth with little to no pain. Great experience from beginning to end, highly recommended!

I had an amazing experience at the Dr. Serkan clinic. I traveled from Canada, arrived at Istanbul airport along with my mom. Everything was organized, pick ups and drop off at the hotel/airport. They were always on time. Most speak good English.. It’s been a week and my hair is already growing.i got about 4500 grafts. I couldn’t be happier and I would recommend this place to my fellow Canadians. I wanna thanks Besiana and all the clinic staff for everything they’ve done for me and my mom. it was greatly appreciated. The beautiful city of Istanbul was a bonus to see as I had plenty of time to take care of my operation and go exploring. I was only there for 4 days. Keep in mind Dr Serkan clinic is very busy at times because of its popularity. Don’t be fooled by some of these bad reviews( could be his competitors writing then, not sure.) He is the best and just like any operation it’s not always 100% depending on the person. For me I’m very happy. Thank you again to all the staff!

These guys are very professional and the hospitality is incredible. The operation went smoothly, and they made sure I was comfortable all the time. Taking as much breaks as i wanted. Excellent staff, excellent doctors, excellent facilities and quality. This place is simply excellent and give good results, I have had multiple surgeries. My first one went perfect and I had amazing hair growth, my second was not as perfect for me unfortunately, but DR. Serkan is a man of his word and keeps his guarantee of free follow up surgery to improve, and gave me a full paid stay in Turkey and surgery to give me the hair I deserve, and I right this after a great experience with my third operation. I recommend his clinic 100%%%%

Personal accompaniment. Take care of you for a hotel I describe a great experience, great staff, great place. For any stay, punctual, arrive and be picked up by courteous drivers for any treatment. The hospital staff is very professional. I underwent a hair transplant, the next day I received guidance for further treatment at home. To say that I am impressed is an understatement. First, the work done by the doctor and team is pure perfection and I could not be happier. However I was also just as happy with the staff and arrangements. The hotel, transportation, and clinic staff were simply amazing. This is the most well done process and experience I have ever had. I would HIGHLY recommend this doctor and clinic to anyone!

The team was very professional and helpful. From the beginning of that I have been taken by a professional driver from my hotel, I felt very supported. Every thing was arranged and organised. Very nice welcoming by the hospital and operation team. Every one was so nice and friendly with me to prepare for operation. The Operation done on time also team after that supported me to change and be ready for getting back to my hotel with lots of helpful advice. In totally I’m very satisfied with the team. This clinic is a scam. They charge well above the normal price - the plush office area makes you think that the procedure will be high quality, but the teams who conduct the process are young and inexperienced - all in early 20s. Experienced professionals are required for this procedure to be safe and to ensure the donor area is not over-harvested. The consultation at this clinic is woeful - Serkan looks at you for 3 minutes - estimates the number of graphs - and that's the last time you see him. His young teams then just extract whatever number he said - they have no experience to know if this is too much as they do the procedure and there is no experienced supervision of these young teams. My donor area was massively over-harvested, had several open wounds, and is still painful nearly a week later. Beware - and go elsewhere.

Very expensive for a hair transplant. The place is nice and arty that’s all about it. You can get the same results and even better elsewhere. Don’t expect Dr. Serkan will do the operation himself. No accommodation included in the prices. It was a lesson to learn.

Prior to securing me as a client (and I say "client" because they lack understanding of patient communication) they were very responsive and keen on getting back to me with immediate answers. Upon arriving - service and coordination was topnotch - Everything was going great up until the day of the surgery when I was surprised by the fact that it was not Dr Serkan that would be performing the procedure.As a female recipient of this procedure the stakes were higher- I flew all the way to this specific clinic because I trusted in the technique that Dr Serkan prides himself in. His take on it was artistic as opposed to just random graft placement (false advertisement I must say which I will take legal action on very soon). Nonetheless, I was already in surgery when I came to this realization and there was no turning back so I just held on to faith in his team to execute efficiently.One year post my transplant - I have to say that it has been the biggest regret of my life. I have lost much more that what I have gained. The hair direction is a complete mess and it has become extremely difficult to manage my hair. Upon reaching out to them - all they did was ask for photos saying that the doctor was too busy and has other commitments. To this day I have received no answer. Unempathetic and unprofessional.It's a money making business - patient post care and the results of their work is the least of their priorities.

If you are looking for a doctor to listen to you, explain everything, listen to your concerns and thoughts, give you time to weigh your options and suggest another option, then DON’T go here!I flew all the way from London to Istanbul after doing my online consultation and agreeing on what will be done and booking my HT operation.My consultation and operation were on the same day (Friday). After doing blood test and filling up my application, Doctor Serkan came to do the “consultation”. He spent literally less than 5 minutes with me!!! He told me that we won’t be doing what was agreed on during online consultation as the pictures looked different than reality! He gave me 2 options on how we can proceed and left the room!He didn’t give me any chance to express my concerns or even ask any question about the 2 options that he suggested!! I didn’t like both options and had something else in mind, but there was no one “professional” to talk to! As my operation was on the same day, they told me that I had to decide NOW to prep me for the operation as it’s a long one.In the end I decided not to proceed with the operation as I wasn’t happy nor comfortable with the general attitude or the options that he suggested.To be fair in my review, I would give 5 stars for the cleanliness of the clinic and politeness of the ladies that were dealing with me. They were very understanding and helpful. They also didn’t charge me for the night that I stayed in the hotel.I know Doctor Serkan Aygin is one of the best HT doctors in Turkey or maybe in the world, but he should give more of his precious time to his patients who are coming from all over the world specially for him.If they ever replied to my review saying that “They can’t find my name in their files” as they do to every negative review, I WAS THERE and can prove it 🙂

I was contacting them for a long time via email and what’s app. I sent them all requested photos but no body responded for almost 5 months now. If this is the way they communicate in advance so what type of service we are expecting from this clinic. I wish I can give ZERO rating but unfortunately it’s not applicable.

.A very bad experience and highly not recommended.the service of the staff was good but ... dr Serkan is hardly seen and there is a lot of pose around.Bottom line: the transplant result is a disaster.Serkan team puts a lot of pressure to use Minoxidil and Propecia to create a misrepresentation of good transplant results. The story is very simple, do you want to know how good the transplant they did for you really is? Stop using Minoxidil and you will see, in my case lots of the transplanted hair fell out and never grow back even after a year.When you try to contact the clinic, they start trying to soap you up because they understand that the bluff was discovered. And worse, they tell you: "we check with the doctor the pictures you sent and get back to you ... still waiting for the phone.... The truth is that I am no longer waiting and I went to another clinic to correct the horror they did in my head.Run away as fast as you can,do not say you were not warned!!חוויה קשה מאוד ומאוד לא מומלצת!!! אמנם השירות של הצוות אדיב אבל...את סרקןכמעט ולא רואים ויש הרבה פוזה מסביב.בשורה התחתונה תוצאת ההשתלה מזעזעות.הצוות של סרקן לוחץ מאוד להשתמש במינוקסידיל ופרופסיה על מנת ליצור מצג שווא של תוצאות טובות מההשתלה. הסיפור הוא כזה, רוצים לדעת עד כמה ההשתלה שעשו לכם אצל סרקן באמת טובה? תפסיקו את השימוש במינוקסידיל ותראו, במקרה שלי רוב השיער נשר ולר חזר לצמוח גם לא אחרי שנה.בפנייה למרפאה מתחילים לנסות לסבן אותך כי הם מבינים שהבלוף התגלה. וגרוע מזה, אומרים לך אנחנו בודקים מול הדוקטור את התמונות של אחרי ההשתלה וחוזרים אלייך..עדיין מחכה לטלפון. האמת שכבר לא מחכה ופניתי לקליניקה אחרת שתתקן את הזוועה שעשו לי בראש.שומר נפשו ירחק ושלא תגידו שלא הוזהרתם!
